Mark Sanford isn’t the only one looking for a book deal these days. The New York Post‘s authoritative “Page Six” reports that Levi Johston, father of Sarah Palin’s out-of-wedlock grandson Tripp, is shopping a tell-all book about his tempestuous relationship with Governor Palin’s daughter Bristol. Mr. Johnston can also draw on some colorful family history of his own for literary inspiration.
“Wait,” you ask. “A high school dropout is writing a book?” Please recall Mrs. Palin’s clarification: Mr. Johnston isn’t a dropout; he just stopped going to school. Besides, The young man wrote a MySpace page that made headlines worldwide.
The young Wasilla resident cannot expect the millions a truly great orator like the Governor can command for her writing, so he is also considering roles in a movie and television “docu-drama.” Mr. Johnston’s acting experience so far: a walk-on at the 2008 GOP Convention and the Tyra Banks Show.
Levi, baby: let’s do lunch.
