A DC Team is in the Super Bowl again.
The Beacon House Falcons are in Pop Warner Football’s Pee Wee Division Super Bowl on Saturday, December 8th at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex.
Beacon House is in Edgewood Terrace in Northeast Washington, DC and features volunteer tutoring programs as well as sports and other activities. Fannie Mae made this year’s Florida trip possible for the Falcons and the 2006 champs, another Washington team.
That’s right. A DC team, the big guys of the Marshall Heights Bisons, won the 2006 Pop Warner Super Bowl Midget Division Championship.
The Falcons and Bisons won their respective Division titles in DC’s Metropolitan Police Boys & Girls League.
Remember: The real Super Bowl is December 8th.
