This Land Is Your Land

“This Land Is Your Land,” written by Woody Guthrie in 1940, as interpreted by Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings. Listen closely; this version restores the song’s original verses about “great big walls” and urban poverty. It was meant to be a protest song.
