There is an amazing letter circulating in the blogosphere that appears to be written by Anne Kilkenny of Wasilla, Alaska, probably William Yardley’s “Ann” Kilkenny, “a Democrat who said she attended every City Council meeting in Ms. Palin’s first year in office [as mayor]. . . .” and who is frequently quoted by the Frontiersman and  Anchorage Daily News.

Ms. Kilkenny may be called a critic, troublemaker, or gadfly. Those terms were once used to describe Sarah Palin,  but Ms. Kilkenny lacks Ms. Palin’s political ambitions.

The letter is being distributed virally. Of the formats we have seen, this one is easiest to read.

We are pursuing this further but, based on available evidence, NotionsCapital  is treating this letter as the genuine product of the hand of Anne Kilkenny of Wasilla. If you know anything about small towns, you will appreciate her courage.
