Hamburg, NY

In the Western New York town of Hamburg, NY, south of Buffalo, there’s a plan to paint the rusting municipal water tower to look like a giant hamburger, visible from the NY Thruway. Residents have even cooked up a dubious tale claiming the sandwich originated in this small, um, burg. Sydni Eure of WKBW-TV explains.
