Awesome. Infinite flexibility. The only limit is your imagination.
iPad is a registered trademark of Kotex the Apple Corporation. So is the apple logo. This is parody, allowed under the Fair Use Doctrine.

Indeed you are correct. At least with a notepad Apple won’t be telling you what you can put on it.
I’ll just draw boobs, that will piss Steve off no end.

I believe the IPad will require the proprietary Ticonderoga #2 stylus.

You will probably have to buy them through iTunes.

Forgive me for taking your joke seriously; but you’ve hit on the place where I feel let down by Apple. When MS and its hardware partners released the Tablet PC 9 years ago, the features that won me over were the pen features: drawing, handwriting recognition, and gestures. The iPad has some multitouch gestures; but so far, not a single story I’ve read has discussed any drawing or handwriting features. Yes, yes, yes: anyone can build a sketch app for the iPod/iPad; but with the Tablet PC, Ink support is a core part of the platform, and Ink can be shared across a range of apps. Handwriting support is available for all apps. My Tablet PC provides the “smart legal pad” metaphor that I like. As far as I can tell right now, the iPad doesn’t.

Haha. That’s so very funny. But seriously, next time this year, iPad will be to the computer world what the iPhone was/is to the smartphone world. The most successful tablet PC ever. Mark my words.

While openness to apps is a unique and important concept, many are dissatisfied with the actual iPhone hardware.
The most successful tablet PC ever.
Not very difficult, since no tablet PC has ever been economically successful. And perhaps you mean “The most successfully marketed tablet PC ever.”

That’s what Fujitsu says. There’s a competing claim from Mad TV.

That’s odd mike, was pretty sure the numbers came in at over 95% of iPhone owners love their iPhone, but 70 some odd % of them hate AT&T. If by many, you meant around 5%, then sure guess you’re right.

Skoda owners love their cars. So do Lamborghini owners. Even with all the hype, iPhone only has 30% of the cell phone market.
