Saturday’s event is sponsored by the city and the Eastern Market Community Advisory Committee.
The music on Sunday is part of an ongoing series that takes place every Sunday (although they take a break in July and August), and is sponsored by the Capitol Hill Community Foundation. After this weekend, they take a break and will return September 6 and will play every Sunday until Oct 11.
The full Spring and Fall schedule can be found at http://capitolhillcommunityfoundation.org/emm/index.html

Claudia may be correct about the money, but it’s the music that’s important, and the Saturday concert is produced by the same people who have presented Spring and Fall concerts at Eastern Market since 2007.
Thank goodness. You really don’t want DC Government producing arts events.
