Rob Ford: Run Robbie Run!

Rob Ford: Run Robbie Run!

Mayor Rob Ford, the man who put Toronto on the map for most Yanks, is running for re-election. Toronto’s self-described “best mayor” dropped off his nomination papers at city hall early this morning:

“My track record speaks for itself. If you want to get personal, that’s fine. I’m sticking to my record, and talk is cheap. You’re going to see action like you’ve never seen before.”

— “Rob Ford, promising ‘Ford more years,’ registers to run for reelection,” Daniel Dale, Toronto Star

More:

“After scandal-plagued 2013, Toronto Mayor Rob Ford bids for re-election,” Ann Hui, The Globe and Mail

Rob Ford, Sports Junkie

December 5, 2013

Rob Ford, Sports Junkie

106.7 THE FAN Sports Radio in Washington has a new heavyweight sports commentator, The Honorable  Rob Ford, the controversial Toronto mayor. Mr. Ford will phone in to the station every Thursday. He’s got lots more free time since the Toronto City Council relieved him of most duties. Perhaps  he can find 6 more radio stations to call on each of other days of the week.

Anyway, the show is broadcast on 106.7 FM Thursday morning from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM Eastern Time. If you’re not in the Metro DC area you can tune in online here.
