It’s Oh So Quiet

May 28, 2017

“It’s Oh So Quiet,” performed by Björk in a 1995 video by Spike Jonze. The tune, recorded by Betty Hutton in 1951, is a version of the German song “Und jetzt ist es still,” composed by Austrian Hans Lang, with English lyrics by Bert Reisfeld. There’s also a 1949 version in French, “Tout est tranquille,” by Ginette Garcin.
