Prayer for Ukraine

Prayer for Ukraine” (Молитва за Україну), performed by the Ukrainian Chorus Dumka of New York on Saturday Night Live, February 26, 2022. Composed in 1885, this is the closing hymn of churches, both Orthodox and Catholic, throughout Ukraine.

“Lord, oh the Great and Almighty,
Protect our beloved Ukraine,
Bless her with freedom and light
Of your holy rays.”
