“Betty Boop for President,” a Fleischer Studios theatrical cartoon released on Friday, November 4, 1932, the weekend before the actual U.S. Presidential election (spoiler: FDR won). Herbert Hoover and Al Smith make brief appreances. Directed by Dave Fleischer, with music by Sammy Timberg. Animators: Roland Crandall, Seymour Kneitel, and Bernard Wolf. Betty is voiced by Mae Questel.

Audiobook Auditions

Last night during the CBS 2018 Grammy Award telecast, several readers auditioned for the audiobook version of Michael Wolff’s bestselling Fire and Fury. One of them was previous Spoken Word Grammy winner Hillary Clinton. UN Ambassador Nikki Haley was not amused.
