In fact, while vocalist Linda Ronstadt was in the folk rock Poneys, she was the only member of the trio on the recording session. Jimmy Bond (bass), guitarist Al Viola (guitar), Don Randi (harpsichord), Jim Gordon (drums) and a string section accompanied her.
