The Compton Cowboys joined thousands celebrating the life of George Floyd in Compton CA on Sunday, June 7th. The club was formed in 2017 to dispel stereotypes against black people. All riders were welcomed for the trip from Gateway Towne Center to Compton City Hall. A Los Angeles Times video.

It took special efforts to get the U.S. government to fund food safety measures to prevent fatal food poisoning , but another food inspection program just galloped through Congress. Legislators passed a bill allowing federal government inspection of horsemeat for human consumption. Hi Yo Silver! Pony slaughterhouses ride again.

Two Colombian soldiers were wounded last week when FARC guerrillas set off a bomb planted on a horse . There are no reports on the condition of the horse; we presume it is carne de hamburguesa .
The Horse Bomb is a new addition to the terrorist stable. It is unknown if the unfortunate animal was an Arabian, which of course would implicate Al-Qaeda.

Buy Trigger the Wonder Horse this week in New York. The famed Palomino was stuffed and exhibited at the Roy Rogers and Dale Evans Museum, and the place has closed . Roy and Dale’s treasures have been rounded up for auction at Christie’s on July 14-15. See the slide show here .
