“Rise Up Shepherd and Follow,” lyrics atttributed to Ruth McEnery Stuart, originally set to music by Kate Douglas Wiggin, recorded by The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square and The King’s Singers, 2008. The lyrics are said to be based on an African American folksong, and variations appear in Hampton Institute Press editions of Religious Folk Songs of the Negro.
