Sarah Palin: Fox News Rerun

Sarah Palin: Fox News Rerun
Sarah Palin, former Miss Wasilla and once part-time Temp-Governor of Alaska, will return to Fox News, where she previously impersonated a political commentator with the same authority she brought to the losing 2008 GOP presidential campaign. Six months ago Fox News ended their three-year relationship with Mrs. Palin. That’s a year longer than she lasted as Alaska’s governor. She was brought back by Fox News Chaiman Roger Ailes (who has called her stupid) as a stunt to counter competition from CNN, and probably for less money than before. She’ll contribute to morning gabfest Fox & Friends.

Palin Kicked Off Fox News

Palin Kicked Off Fox News

Sarah Palin, former part-time Temp-Governor of Alaska, has ended her relationship with Fox News. Mrs. Palin impersonated a political commentator on the cable news outlet with the same authority she brought to the 2008 GOP presidential campaign, and Fox was tired of looking like John McCain.

Sarah Palin was on Fox for three years, a year longer than she was Alaska’s governor, but may draw on her other past experience in future endeavors. The former Miss Wasilla would be a great spokesmodel for products like Naughty Monkey high-heeled shoes or Bushmaster assault rifles. And Mrs. P, who now has a home studio, was once was a sportscaster on an Anchorage TV station. Here’s an aircheck we’re submitting to ESPN:

Economist Ben Stein: Taxes on the Rich Are Too Low

October 26, 2012

Conservative economist Ben Stein told panelists on “Fox & Friends” that the government doesn’t just have a spending problem, it also has a “too low taxes problem.”

“I hate to say this on Fox – I hope I’ll be allowed to leave here alive – but I don’t think there is any way we can cut spending enough to make a meaningful difference, we’re going to have to raise taxes on very, very rich people. People with incomes of, say, $2, $3, $4 million a year and up. And then slowly, slowly, slowly move it down. $250,000 a year, that’s not a rich person.”

“With all due respect to Fox, who I love like brothers and sisters, taxes are too low,” he added.

Palin Canceled by Fox News?

Palin Canceled by Fox News?

When Sarah Palin, the former Temp-Governor of Alaska, was signed by Fox News as a political commentator, it looked like God’s Own Plan. The word now is that Mrs. Palin may be fired by Fox or, more precisely, her contract will not be renewed. We should have known after the conservative cable outlet scratched her spots at the GOP Convention and she responded with a Facebook snit.

The Discovery Network canceled Sarah Palin’s Alaska after a single season, a half-season longer than she lasted as Alaska’s Governor. An attempt to sell another “reality” show (America’s Got Moose or something) failed.

There is no truth to the rumor that Fox is replacing Sarah Palin with Tina Fey, since we just made that up. You read it here first.

EPA Drones Spy on American Farmers! Not.

June 18, 2012

EPA Drones Spy on American Farmers! Not.

The Environmental Protection Agency is using killer drone aircraft to spy on innocent farmers in America’s Heartland, according to the Daily Caller, Fox News, and Tea Party congressmen. “Send In The Drones: Obama Spies On America” screamed an Investor’s Business Daily editorial.

Just one thing. It isn’t true.

Fox News Fights Commie Muppets

Fox News Fights Commie Muppets

"Lousy Commie Elmo Had It Coming!"

“It ain’t easy being green, but according to Fox Business, Kermit the Frog and his Muppet friends are reds.

Last week, on the network’s ‘Follow the Money’ program, host Eric Bolling went McCarthy on the new, Disney-released film, ‘The Muppets,’ insisting that its storyline featuring an evil oil baron made it the latest example of Hollywood’s so-called liberal agenda.

Bolling, who took issue with the baron’s name, Tex Richman, was joined by Dan Gainor of the conservative Media Research Center, who was uninhibited with his criticism.

‘It’s amazing how far the left will go just to manipulate your kids, to convince them, give the anti-corporate message,’ he said.”

Sarah Palin Leaves 2012 Race; Now a Full-Time Fictional Character

Sarah Palin Leaves 2012 Race; Now a Full-Time Fictional`Character

Former Alaska Temp-Governor Sarah Palin disappointed Tea Party stalwarts by declining to enter the race for the 2012 Republican Presidential nomination. She made the announcement on CNN Fox News Twitter  mighty Cumulus Media Radio. After talking it over with God, Mrs. Palin explained to host Mark Levin, she’s decided to remain on the $100,000-a-pop personal appearance circuit, hawking her book-like objects.

Sarah Palin has always been more of a celebrity than an actual public figure, a creation of marketing image-makers. Now that she’s out of the presidential race, she’s become a full-time fictional character in the novel It’s Classified, written by former Palin media advisor Nicolle Wallace.

Mice With Human Brains!

 Mice With Human Brains!

Christine O’Donnell, Delaware Republican Senate candidate, meat-eater, and recovering witch, is also a scientific expert. In 2007 she reported on genetic engineering on Fox News:

“American scientific companies are cross-breeding humans and animals and coming up with mice with fully functioning human brains.”

Where the heck did that come from? Michael Fumento presents this hypothesis:

Juan Time Too Many

October 22, 2010

Juan Time Too Many

Until he was fired yesterday, Juan Williams was a News Analyst on NPR (formerly National Public Radio). Before that, he was an NPR News Correspondent, a reporting position. For the past few years, Mr. Williams has also held a second job as a Fox News commentator. His statements there are more unconstrained, more about opinion than reportage of fact.

We don’t know if Fox commentators have a code of ethics, but NPR journalists do, and it specifically instructs them to avoid public appearances in situations that “encourage punditry and speculation rather than fact-based analysis.” When Mr. Williams crossed that line before, in 2009, he admitted it. He had done it the previous year, too, and NPR responded by changing his job duties from “Correspondent” to “Analyst.” NPR also asked Fox to stop identifying Juan Williams as “NPR Political Analyst” on their telecasts.

Sarah Palin, Mother of Our Nation

August 28, 2010

Sarah Palin, Mother of Our Nation

Former Alaska Temp-Governor Sarah Palin, whose five children include professional unwed teen mother Bristol and infantryman Track, faced Fox News fans at the Lincoln Memorial today and proclaimed:

“I’ve been asked to speak as the mother of a soldier, and I’m proud of that distinction. You know, say what you want to say about me but I raised a combat vet, and you can’t take that away from me.”

“No woman gives birth thinking she will hand over her child to her country, but that’s what mothers have done from ancient days.”

Mrs. Palin: Thank you for your cervix.
