Christmas Island

December 26, 2014

“Christmas Island,” written by Lyle Moraine, who worked as a bit player in films. His novelty song was first performed in 1946 by the Andrews Sisters with Guy Lombardo and His Royal Canadians. The song has been re-recorded many times; we like the version by Leon Redbone.
