Equinox

Today, it’s officially Fall in the Northern Hemisphere, the Autumnal Equinox. It’s better to call it the September Equinox, since it also marks the beginning of Spring for the southern half of the world.

Early Warning System

The editors of Politico have done a great public service by publishing a 2012 Presidential Election Calendar.

This will allow normal people to avoid GOP presidential contenders as they tub-thump and fulminate across the country. Regular human beings can now adjust their routes and schedules accordingly and minimize disruption of their daily lives. Caution: forecasters predict heaviest activity in Iowa and New Hampshire.
