47 Percent? Paul Ryan Only Writes Off 30 Percent of Americans.

October 4, 2012

Paul Ryan says a third of his fellow citizens want a welfare state. That’s Rep. Paul Ryan (R, WI-1), who’s been on a government payroll most of his working life, except for a couple of months when he sold baloney. He’s running for Vice President of 100 percent of the American people, but he blows off 30 percent of them as losers.

His running mate, ex-financier Mitt Romney, thinks 47 percent of his fellow citizens are a dead loss. Maybe they’ll split the difference and kiss off 38.5 percent of us. After all, Paul Ryan is a “numbers guy.”

Romney Health Care Plan for the 47 Percent

Romney Health Care Plan for the 47 Percent

Ex-financier Willard Mitt Romney on CBS “60 Minutes“:

“Well, we do provide care for people who don’t have insurance. If someone has a heart attack, they don’t sit in their apartment and die. We pick them up in an ambulance and take them to the hospital and give them care. And different states have different ways of providing for that care.”

Odd talk for a man whose chief accomplishment in his single term in public office was a successful universal health insurance program. ER care costs three times what primary care does, and taxpayers and policyholders pick up the tab for the uninsured, so that’s odd math from a man who claims he’ll fix the economy. Something else is odd: Mitt Romney was against emergency room primary care before he was for it. Someone needs to remind him that the emergency department is not health insurance.

Mitt Romney’s America

September 19, 2012

Mitt Romney's America

Ex-financier Willard Mitt Romney was whoopin’ it up at an intimate $50,000-a-plate dinner-for-150 at the palatial estate of kinky fellow plutocrat Marc Leder when some class traitor secretly recorded the GOP candidate’s run-down on the “Other Ranks.” 47% of Americans pay no Federal Income Tax, he confided, and it’s not because they’re compensated in capital gains or have elaborate off-shore bank accounts like real Americans. Our U.S. corporations simply pay them too little to cover their family upkeep, and those wretched, gummint-dependent ingrates won’t vote GOP in November anyway, so screw ’em.
