Ms. Dooley runs Conservatives for Energy Freedom, and advocates for the expansion of renewable energy. She explains how to explain renewable energy to her fellow conservatives: “If you lead off with climate change, they’re not going to pay a bit of attention to anything else you say.”

Maine Gov’s Wife Takes Job From Woman Who Really Needs It

23,000 people in Maine are jobless and looking for work, but Governor Paul LePage’s wife wants a cute new car, so she is working as a waitress in scenic Boothbay Harbor during the lucrative summer tourist season. While Mrs. LePage is serving lobster nachos and double-wrapped bacon scallops, Governor LePage is trying to eliminate the food stamp benefits of his poorest constituents.

Next House Speaker: Dick Cheney?

House Speaker John Boehner is leaving, and neither Kevin McCarthy nor Paul Ryan wants the job.

Tea Party loon and freshman Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) has a Speaker candidate: Former congressman, Secretary of Defense, Vice President, and unindicted war criminal Dick Cheney. There’s nothing in the rules that specifically says that the Speaker has to be a House member. Or a human being, for that matter.

In a graphic elaboration of Jeb Bush’s “stuff happens,” retired brain surgeon Ben Carson explained that you’re gonna die of gunshot wounds to defend a willful misinterpretation of the 2nd Amendment.

Dr. Carson also suggested that President Obama forgo visiting the grieving families of Roseburg, Oregon and wait for the next mass shooting. There’s never a long wait; there’s been a mass shooting almost every day this year.

Michele Bachmann: God Will Destroy America Like Sodom & Gommorah!

Last weekend, while Pope Francis spoke to you about world peace and justice, former Congresscreature and Tea Party loon Michele Bachmann told radio host Janet Markell that President Obama, same-sex marriage, family planning clinics, and fetal cell research doom the United States to God’s fiery wrath:

“When we raise our fist to a holy God and say that we are going to redefine marriage, we are going to be okay with paying a Planned Parenthood to cut up innocent baby parts and sell them for research, that clearly is a problem and as we have seen God render judgment in the days of Noah, in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah and so forth throughout history, what the prophets have told every generation is that there is a just God and the people must repent and turn to him. So too in this day of wickedness in our own culture, we need to do the same. We need to repent and we need to confess because a holy Savior is coming to save us and redeem us from this sin-sick world.”

Sarah Palin, former Miss Wasilla, once part-time Temp-Governor of Alaska, losing GOP Vice Presidential candidate and failed Fox News commentator, interviewed GOP front-runner Donald J. Trump on the mighty One America News Network on Friday. Outtakes:

Palin: “This is a movement of Trumpeters or Trumpservatives or whatever these folks are called. He’s avant garde, and crushing it in the polls. … he wants to connect with you, to those who are going to show up at the polls and elect the next leader of the free world.”

Trump: “If you look at what’s happening with this country, it’s so sad. You’ve pointed it out for years.” “I have to tell you, you’re a terrific person.”

On another occasion The Donald said that, even though she’s no longer a 10, he would welcome Mrs. Palin into a Trump Administration, something Hockey Mom hasn’t ruled out.

Sarah Palin, former Miss Wasilla, once part-time Temp-Governor of Alaska, losing GOP Vice Presidential candidate, and failed Fox News commentator, is back on TV again, in a way. She will helm the show On Point with Guest Host Sarah Palin on the mighty One America News Network for 5 whole nights on the week of August 24th. They’d offer her a longer contract, but she’d probably quit halfway through, like she did as Governor of Alaska.

Mrs. Palin has a long history in broadcasting. studying media at five colleges in six years (one of them twice) before graduating, then working as a TV sportscaster on an Alaska station for months.

Sarah Palin Fired by Fox. Again.

Sarah Palin, former Miss Wasilla and once part-time Temp-Governor of Alaska, has been let go by Fox News, where she impersonated a political commentator with the same authority she brought to the losing 2008 GOP presidential campaign. She had been fired by the network before. In 2013 Fox News ended their three-year relationship with Mrs. Palin. Of course, that was a year longer than she lasted as Alaska’s governor.
