Akhnaten, the Opera

The 1984 Phillip Glass opera Akhnaten is set around 1350 B.C.E. in the Egyptian cities of Thebes and  Akhetaten. In New York, the Metropolitan Opera staged performances in 2019. This Vox video shows how.
