Betty Boop and the Little King

“Betty Boop and the Little King,” a 1936 Fleischer Studio theatrical cartoon directed by Dave Fleischer. Written by Otto Soglow to introduce his Little King comic strip character to Fliescher’s Betty Boop. Music by Sammy Timberg; animation by Hicks Lokey and Myron Waldman. Betty is voiced by Mae Questel, who probably warbled as the opera diva. The Little King remains mute in the comicstrips and cartoons, except for this one; it’s unclear who provided his voice.
