“The Atomic Telephone,” written by Henry Glover and Eddie Smith (Syd Nathan, owner of King Records, got a co-writing credit too, as “Lois Mann”). Recorded by the Spirit of Memphis Quartet, 1951. Label-mates The Harlan County Four (aka Brown’s Ferry Four) recorded a country quartet version a month later.
