St Peter’s Chapel in Lucerne, Switzerland has replaced its church bells with ringtones. While the 19th century bell tower is undergoing renovations, the church is featuring an installation by Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts students that substitutes iPhone’s original default Marimba ringtone for the sonorous tones of bronze bells.
