Let It Be Me

“Let It Be Me” was written and originally recorded by Gilbert Bécaud as “Je t’appartiens,”with French lyrics by Pierre Delanoë. Manny Curtis penned the English lyrics, harmonized by Jerry Butler and Betty Everett in 1964. The song has been recorded by the Everly Brothers and many others.
