September 10th: TV Dinner Day

Septemner 10th: TV Dinner Day

On September 10, 1953 the TV Dinner was introduced to a grateful nation by C.A. Swanson & Sons. The pre-packaged, frozen meal could be heated in the kitchen oven, retrieved during a TV commercial break, and consumed on a folding tray table whilst the family watched programs on any of the three broadcasting networks. God Bless America.
