The options are aggravating in that they don’t include a Canada option. A very large number of New England residents came via Canada, and this affects our perception of the immigration debate. We tend to find it very Mexico-centric. And not at all sensitive to the large numbers of refugees and immigrants we have as a result of US foreign wars.
