Martin Lindström wrote an op-ed in the New York Times claiming he used Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) to establish that you actually feel lust for your iPhone.
Mr. Lindström is in marketing. That means he never makes his data public, and misinterprets or misrepresents them.
But nothing gets media attention like sex, brains, and iPhones. It’s Bad science, but great marketing.
