Rolling Thunder will be heard in Washington on Sunday at Noon. The motorcycle column will leave the Pentagon Parking Lot and cross Memorial Bridge to the National Mall area.
Organizers have arranged a stage on the south side of the Reflecting Pool, near the Korean Memorial. A program of speakers and music begins as 1:30 PM, but nothing matches the sound of hundreds of bikes crossing the bridge.

Palin has apparently tried to hijack the event. There is no problem if she wishes to be simply one more rider indistinguishable from other riders.
It is however reprehensible if she tries to use this event to promote herself. Organizers indicate that they do not endorse her (or anyone else) and that she will not be appearing on their stage.

Relax Dog Gone. She was invited. She rode. She left. Her son is currently serving. Try not to get your shorts in a wad.

Not quite accurate. Mrs. Palin was invited by someone without the authority to officlally do so (a retired board member), no one in the current leadership.
She rode. She left.
Afer hogging the headlines and saying profound things like “I love the smell of the emissions” to honor our war dead.
Her son is currently serving.
As a reservist. He’ll be serving as a University of Alaska freshman after fishing season. Of course, he’s also serving a concurrent life sentence — he just got married.
