FoodPornDaily — “Click, drool, repeat.” A sensuous celebration of food photography by Amanda Simpson, Tyler Simpson, and Nicole Hamaker (more on them in future posts). SFW (Safe for Work) but NSFD (Not Safe For Dieters). Both “food porn” sites have their merits; chacun à son goût.
Young and Hungry —Tim Carman’s well-written Washington City Paper blog concentrates on DC Metro restaurant reviews and timely gossip, with occasional recipes and food-think. As the title suggests, Y&H reviews many modestly-priced establishments for budget-conscious twenty-somethings, especially handy in these tough times.
Seaweeds Used as Human Food— Got kelp? All the sea veggies in Poseidon’s pantry, annotated by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). The aquaculture-obsessed will want to read the complete FAO Fisheries Technical Paper, A guide to the seaweed industry.
EatFoo — Stylish and entertaining West Coast food blog by David Barzelay. Recipes, kitchen hardware tips, food lore, more.

America the Bountiful— A tasteful and satisfying online exhibit about food in American cultural history, directed by Louis Grivetti of the University of California, Davis. The exhibit features artifacts from the Culinary Archives and Museum of Rhode Island’s Johnson and Wales University.
The Liquid Muse— Beverage blog of LA mixologist Natalie Bovis-Nelsen. Cocktails, spirits, eatery reviews. The high-proof blogroll will send you staggering through the bartending blogosphere. Bottoms up!
