Arms and the Man

Arms and the Man

I sing of arms and the man. Okay . . . it’s only one arm, and more like whining.

Seriously, everything went fine. My Ulnar nerve has been rerouted, and the arm should heal in a few weeks. It will be a few months before I find out if the nerve damage to my hand is reversed and the numbness in my fourth and fifth fingers decreases.

For you surgery fans, sadists and hypochondriacs, I’ve found another description of the procedure.

Not to nitpick, Mike, but it sure looks like the operation in the drawing is the WRONG ARM!

Good point. In my defense, this is a post-operative post, and the drugs they gave me were pretty darn good. If I flipped the graphic over now, your comment wouldn’t make sense to new readers.
