Big Sunday Savings. On Daylight.

At 2:00 AM this Sunday morning people in most of the United States will set their clocks ahead one hour as we begin began Daylight Saving Time. Many households will also change the batteries in their smoke detectors. In Arizona, where they don’t believe in Daylight Saving Time, people mark the day by putting fresh ammunition in their handguns.

More Daylight. Less Sleep.

More Daylight. Less Sleep.

It’s time to spring ahead, America. Daylight Saving Time starts tonight. Set your clock ahead an hour and lose an hour of sleep on Sunday.

Except in Arizona, where they’re on God’s Own Mountain Time all year long. Why? Perhaps the state’s many retirees can’t figure out how to change the digital time settings on their old VHS machines.

If you live elsewhere, don’t fret. you’ll get your lost hour of sleep back when standard time returns on November 4th.

More on Daylight Saving Time here. Of course, maybe it’s all a scam.
