The USA has seen a lot this year:

Snow storms. Floods. Tornadoes. Oil spills.

Next:

Grasshoppers. The USDA predicts a record infestation of voracious grasshoppers in the Western states. They eat crops and the forage that feeds cattle.

Things are getting downright Biblical.
