
The Brain Pickings blog features Maria Popova’s review of the recently published Bike Art: Bicycles in Art Around the World (Kiriakos Iosifides, Gingko Press). It looks like an attractive book, even if it doesn’t include the sculpture above.

“Yarn-Bombing” or “crochet graffiti” probably peaked last year (I took that photo last fall, near the School of Visual Arts). There’s a website, a book, and tons of photos. Bikes and bike racks are often targets of adornment.
