
The New York State Senate has passed the Marriage Equality Act legalizing same-sex marriage, and Governor Andrew Cuomo has signed it into law. Same-sex marriage is legally recognized in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Iowa and the District of Columbia.

Since this is more serious than a jello mold I’l say that it’s about time and have been in touch with a mentor who helped a kid (me) formulate the anti-discrimination legislation that paved the way for this 26 years ago. It’s about time.
