How long was Obama in the US Senate before he left for the campaign trail?

Oh yeah and is Palin running for president?

Glad to see you’re scared, Mike!

  2. Mike Licht Says:

WB: The inept Ms. Palin is running as VP with a 72-year-old cancer survivor with health issues from wartime confinement.

Ms. Palin was the inept mayor of a very small town and continues as the inept governor of an under-populated state blessed with a large income from high oil prices. She knows nothing of the law or administration and her actions in Wasilla and as governor show it. She wastes more money than her corrupt predecessors stole, wants to move US pipeline jobs to Canada, supports an uneconomical AK dairy industry with government money, and tried to eminent-domain away private property from land owners, but the courts shot her down.

This does not inspire confidence in the ability of Ms. Palin or the judgment of the Republican nominee who selected her.

Even when Congress is in session, congressmen and senators are here in DC about 3 days a week. That is why they demand free parking at National Airport and have staff and Blackberrys. “On the Campaign Trail” does not mean not participating in congressional affairs. This is not the 19th century.
