This afternoon we plan to admire a few early-blossoming trees, then see the Price Collection of paintings from Japan’s Edo period (1615-1868) at the Smithsonian’s Sackler Gallery. I’m not sure if they have any of these roller-skating Sumo wrestling paintings — they are quite rare, not like the skateboarding ones.
